Privacy notice

This notice explains what personal information Bethadel Media Limited ("Bethadel", "we", "us") collects through this website, why we collect it, and the choices you have. We are based at Plot 85, Iju Road, Agege, Lagos, Nigeria, and we handle personal information in line with the Nigeria Data Protection Act 2023.

What we collect

• Contact form. When you send us a message we receive the name, email address, message and, if you provide it, the phone number you enter.
• Email and WhatsApp. If you email us or message us on WhatsApp, we receive the details you choose to share and your contact address or number.
• Technical information. Our hosting provider records standard server logs such as IP address, browser type and the pages requested, which are used to keep the site secure and available.
• Preferences. Your theme choice (Default, Dark or Light) is stored in your browser only, using local storage. It is never sent to us.

We do not use advertising trackers or analytics cookies on this site.

Why we use it

• To reply to your enquiry and discuss the event or project you contacted us about.
• To prepare quotes, agreements and deliver services you ask for.
• To keep our website secure and working properly.
• To meet legal and accounting obligations.

We rely on your consent when you contact us, on the steps needed to enter into a contract with you, and on our legitimate interest in running a business and a secure website.

Who we share it with

We do not sell personal information. We share it only with service providers who help us run the website and communicate with you, each bound to protect it:

• Vercel hosts the website and processes the contact form.
• Resend delivers contact form messages to our inbox and sends you a confirmation email.
• Zoho provides our business email.
• WhatsApp (Meta) if you choose to message us there, under WhatsApp's own privacy terms.

Some of these providers operate outside Nigeria. Where information leaves the country, we rely on the provider's contractual safeguards.

How long we keep it

Enquiries are kept for as long as needed to respond and, where we go on to work together, for the duration of the engagement and the period required for tax and accounting records. You can ask us to delete an enquiry at any time.

Your rights

You can ask us to confirm what personal information we hold about you, correct it, delete it, restrict how we use it, or provide a copy of it. You can also withdraw consent or object to our use of it. To exercise any of these rights, email bizdev@bethadelmedia.com. You have the right to lodge a complaint with the Nigeria Data Protection Commission.

Security

The website is served over HTTPS, form submissions are validated and protected against automated abuse, and access to our inbox is restricted to authorised staff. No method of transmission over the internet is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Children

This website is intended for businesses and adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 18.

Changes to this notice

We may update this notice from time to time. The date at the top shows when it was last changed.
